The first trade edition, first impression.In the publisher's original unclipped dust wrapper.Signed by the author to the front free endpaper, with 'to David Willis, best wishes', dated March 22nd, 1972.George Mann MacBeth was a Scottish poet and novelist, who received a Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize for his work.This verse lecture in the form of a poem 'shows a unique side to his achievement and awareness'. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with a touch of fading to front board head. A touch of sunning to dust wrapper back strip, with tiny closed tear to head of front wrap. Inscribed to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Fine.
