Stated first edition, number 984 of a special limited ediiotn of 1050 copies, signed by the author, and with an original page from a working manuscript of this title at the front. Light gray cloth over beveled boards, gilt spine lettering, tipped on color frontis plates, map endpapers, original clear plastic dustjacket, blue slipcase with paper label. The book is in near fine condition with the manuscript leaf detached but present, good hinges, tight binding, no names or other markings. The clear plastic dustjacket is good with some wrinkling and chips, the slipcase is fair to poor with both edges of the bottom panel broken, other wear, quite possibly repairable. Signed by the Author. First, Limited Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Fair to Poor Slipcase. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 044678
