About this Item
Born Oscar Kaplan in Letychiv, Ukraine, Williams (1900-64) earned the Yale Younger Poets Prize with his first book, Golden Darkness (1921). Several more volumes followed; however, it was as an anthologist that he found lasting success, with the collections he edited selling more than two million copies during his lifetime. This copy is inscribed and dated in the year of publication by Williams on the front flyleaf. Octavo. Original brown cloth binding, with dark brown titles. Some mild browning and wear along the extremities of the dust jacket; otherwise very good. Seller Inventory # 69416
