First edition. Two volumes. Everson's unfinished autobiographical verse epic. Includes IN MEDIAS RES, which is a work of art, designed, printed and published by Adrian Wilson in 1984. Number 126 of 226 copies SIGNED BY EVERSON, KILLION, and WILSON. Together with ENGENDERING FLOOD which restarts the planned "Dust Shall Be the Serpent's Food" series. It's been designated "Book One," includes "In Medias Res," and adds 3 more Cantos to what Everson surely planned to be a much longer narrative. Published by Black Sparrow in 1990. Number 26 of 50 specially bound copies SIGNED BY EVERSON on folding broadside print bound in at front. Both books are fine with only minor wear. Original prospectus laid in first volume.
