About this Item

Octavo, [1], x, 1120, [4] pages. In Good condition with Good minus slipcase. Spine is brown as a result of heavy sunning with gold lettering. Slipcase is bound in blue cloth and shows sunning/fading along edges, which is heaviest on edges surrounding the case opening. Moderate shelf wear to slipcase sides, corners, and bottom edge. Boards are bound in matching blue cloth, and show heavy sunning to spine and rear hinge. Small, faint scuffs on front board. Loose thread from cloth binding on front board near fore edge. Two large, faint scrapes visible on rear board. Text block pulling away from cloth near the top of the spine, causing mild warping. Leaves in last one-third of book are separated slightly from headband of binding near top of spine. Small grey scuff/line on bottom edge of text block. Flat signed in ink by President Richard Nixon on dedicated signature page: "Richard Nixon". Shelved in Room A. 1399508. Special Collections.
