Mies van der Rohe: The Art of Structure [SIGNED]. Zurich and Stuttgart: Architectural Publishers; 1965. INSCRIBED by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. First English language edition. 4to. Square hardcover book bound in white cloth and complete with the original pictorial dustjacket. 228 pages featuring numerous b/w (some in color) illustrations and photographs throughout. This copy has been inscribed boldly in black pen by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe on the half title page. A highly desirable signed copy of Mies van der Rohe's The Art of Structure, an important publication documenting the work and architectural principles of one of the defining figures of twentieth-century modernism. The book and unclipped dj are in excellent condition with no other ownership marks. The boards show very light shelfwear and there is a bit of soiling/edgewear to the jacket, otherwise this is an impressive copy signed by the master architect himself.
