Signed first printing of this illustrated collection of classic Mr. Rogers tunes, including "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" - inscribed by Kellogg with original drawing of Mr. Rogers himself. Kellogg has written and/or illustrated more than one hundred children's books. He is a recipient of the Regina Medal for lifetime contribution to children's literature, and his books have won numerous awards such as the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award, the Irma Simonton Black Award, the IRA-CBC Children's Choice Award, and the Parents' Choice Award. In 2011 he donated his archive to the University of Findlay's Mazza Museum. 11'' x 8''. Original color pictorial boards. Original price-clipped color pictorial dust jacket. Illustrated in color. [32] pages. Signed by Kellogg to front pastedown with original drawing of Fred Rogers, captioned "HOORAY for / Mr. Rogers! / from your friend." Garfield the Cat bookplate to front flyleaf. Jacket with a hint of toning, a couple spots of soil; light sunning to spine. Binding with mild edgewear. Pages clean. Very good plus in very good plus dust jacket.
