Here is a bit about Margaret "Margy" Boyd, to whom the book is inscribed (from a 2017 obituary in the SF Chronicle): ******Margy Boyd was founding chair of the Modern Art Council of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and later founded SFMOMA's long standing monthly tours of artists at work in their studios, which she evolved into the travel department. After leaving SFMOMA she founded Margy Boyd Art Tours, a firm that combined her passion for art and cultural tourism around the world.
