The author, a namesake only of his subject, worked at the time of publication as Assistant director of the Brazilian Government Trade Bureau in New York. 246pp; frontis; index. Green cloth; dust jacket. Light toning to edges of leaves. Else fine in a very good jacket with reattached chip at base of spine, some toning. Signed, dated ("1954"), and inscribed in Portuguese by author at half-title.

Shipping terms
All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports.
