Hardcover in glossy pictorial boards. First edition. SIGNED and inscribed by the author on title page. Fine condition, crisp clean, and solidly bound. No dust jacket. Nancy Binns Reed was a prolific composer of musicals and operas who achieved worldwide notice as a co-author of the early 1950s pop tune "Oh, Happy Day." This is one of three books she wrote for children, after living in Korea with her Defense Department-employed husband. Beatifully illustrated in bold primary colors. 4to. Unpaginated.
