Add to basketSome of the poems in the latter half of the book have already appeared in other volumes of George Rostrevor Hamilton's poetry. Inside front cover it says 'Inscribed for John Arlott by George Rostrevor Hamilton December 1941.'
Hamilon and Arlott were editing book of topographical poetry about the countries of England and Wales together called 'Landmarks.' Arlott who later became a well known broadcaster, was a policeman in Southampton in 1941. There is age marking on the front and back of the dust jacket and spine but the book is generally in good condition for its age.
