Male and Female Homosexuality: A Comprehensive Investigation

First Edition, First Printing. 6 x 9.25in. ix. 341pp. Publisher's stamped cloth boards. Signed by the author, Eli Robins, on the front free endpaper: "Marion, T.S. Eliot said it all for me. All the best, Eli." While Robins left Harvard for St. Louis, T.S. Eliot left St. Louis for Harvard. Much modern literary criticism has been produced regarding the true nature of Eliot's sexuality amongst other rather profound implications of Robins' inscription. The former owner, Dr. Marion Hines, was among the first female neuroscientists in the field and who contributed significantly. She and Robins were friends and colleagues at Washington University. A stunningly inscribed copy of this historically foundational work on the subject. NEAR FINE. A small short light scuff of the back board, otherwise remains Fine/As New. As pictured.
