First Edition, First Printing, SIGNED by Graham Greene on a laid card that carries the typed notation: Fords THE GOOD SOLDIER is one of the fifteen or twenty greatest novels in English. An attractive dustjacket with some fading to the spine, and some wear along the edges. Otherwise, this original dustjacket is complete, with no chipping. The book is in nice shape with some light staining to the boards and rubbing to the panels. The binding is tight, and the pages are clean. Besides previous owner's signature, there is no writing, marks or bookplates in the book. Overall, a collectable copy of this true first edition, SIGNED by the author of the author's first book.
