First edition of A Manual of Boot and Shoe Manufacture by Herbert Hill and Henry Yeoman in half morocco binding and cloth boards.A presentation copy signed by Hill to the first pastedown.Designed for the use of technical teachers and students.With illustrations throughout the text and blank note pages, a few of which have been filled by the previous owner to the rear.A scarce edition with only one held in libraries. Undated, dated from the copy held at the British Library.Also includes an insert from 'The Shoe Trade Journal' from 1920 and a pamphlet from a lecture given by Herbert Hill attached to the first note page. In half morocco binding and cloth boards. Externally, fair. There is some significant loss to the head and tail of the spine. There is rubbing and bumping to the extremities and to the spine. The hinges are starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the odd spot. Good Only.
