First edition. 1/2 black morocco, black cloth, marbled endpapers and edges, raised bands. This copy formerly belonging to Supreme Court Justice Harold H. Burton. Burton has autographed, dated(6/12/42), and written his address(125 Senate Office Bldg. Washington D.C.) on the first blank page. Burton was Senator from Ohio in 1942. He was appointed to the Supreme Court by Harry Truman in 1945 . Burton spent thirteen years on the Court. A near fine copy. Seller Inventory # ABE-58667481
