A wonderful manuscript cookbook in Danish by Caroline Aaris. Over 100 pages, over 150 recipes. Includes fish, hare, pickles, puddings, bread, cakes, etc. Neatly inked script on fine laid paper. Signed calligraphically by Aaris on the front pastedown. 4to. Bound in the original calf-backed decorated boards. Binding somewhat worn but very solid. Internally very good.
