An in-depth account of bamboo rod building from two experts of the craft. Garrison passed two years before the publication and Carmichael was instrumental in the project's completion. Reprinted many times, this is the 1st printing in very good condition with former owner's raised blind stamp to upper corner of first endsheet, o/w internally quite clean. Bears Carmichael's uncommon signature to the half title page. The jacket also in good condition with moderate edge wear, lightly faded along spine and a bit of staining to inside upper edge of rear panel and flap. Still a very presentable copy.
