Gilt-stamped green cloth; 4to; 296pp; illustrated with text drawings by Robert Seaman plus photos by Matthew Vinciguerra & Luis Marden; color photographic dust jacket; foreword by C.O.v. Kienbusch. An in-depth account of bamboo rod building from two experts of the craft. Garrison passed two years before the publication and Carmichael was instrumental in the project's completion. Reprinted many times, this is the1st printing in very good condition with the slightest wear along bottom edge from shelving. The jacket also is in VG condition with a small chips along edges. Bears Carmichael's uncommon signature to the half title page. A quite nice copy, better than most encountered.
