Signed first edition of McCarthy by Roy Cohn. Octavo, xiii, [3], 292pp, [1]. Black cloth, title printed on spine. Stated "first printing" on copyright page. Book appears unread. Includes 16 pages of photographic illustrations. In the publisher's fine dust jacket, retail price on front flap. Signed by the author on the front free endpaper in blue pen: "Kind regards - Roy Cohn." Roy Cohn (1927-1986) served as the chief council during the McCarthy hearings in 1954. He would later become the personal attorney for Donald Trump. He would introduce Trump to Rupert Murdoch in the 1970's, which became critical to the future political success of President Trump. Mr. Cohn passed away in 1986 due to AIDS. He has reentered the public discourse due to his relationship with Donald Trump, with many crediting Trump's political doctrine to the teachings of Roy Cohn.
