Nice first edition SIGNED by the author, with 25 lovely watercolor illustrations by the author. Blue-green cloth boards with unchipped gold lettering and illustration on cover, gold lettering on spine. Som faint small water spots scattered on cover. No fraying or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Clean blue endpapers. Signed on blank fly leaf: "Christmas 1929 - In pleasant rememberance of your acquaintance with the author." Laid in is the calling card of "Miss Mary S. Dunn" 97 Oxford Street. All pages and edges are clean and bright and paper is high quality.
