SIGNED. 147pp. Octavo [21 cm] 1/4 black cloth with green paper covered boards with a silver stamped title on the spine, and a silver feather design on the front cover. The front board is a bit splayed. The dust jacket is mildly yellowed, and has a minor notation in pen in the top corner of the front inside flap. Translated by Ralph Manheim. With an afterword by Leonard Forster, providing notes on the dramatis personae and identifying the historical, literary, and commercial streams that had their confluence at Telgte. Signed by Gunter Grass on the front flyleaf.
