Octavo (19cm); black boards in illustrated dust jacket with $3.00 price intact; 245pp. Dust jacket rubbed and toned; small tear along top edge of front panel. Boards bumped. Binding sound. Textblock, endsheets, and interior pages lightly toned. Very Good or better. Signed by the author in purple ink at first free endsheet. Derleth's second collection of stories about the detective Solar Pons, an affectionate pastiche of Sherlock Holmes.
