viii, 408pp. Ex-Lib. (Marx Memorial Library) with "Disposed of by M.M.L." stamp on title page. Also dedication with signature of Ivan Maisky on title page (see photos) "To my dear old friend D.N.Pritt in memory of his 80th birthday met in Moscow. I.Maisky Moscow 22.IX.1967. Maisky was Soviet Ambassador to the United Kingdom 1932-43. D.N.Pritt was an M.P. from 1935-1950, also author and lawyer, who successfully defended Ho Chi Minh in 1931-32 against a French request for his extradition from Hong Kong. Library labels removed with some damage to endpapers (see photos).
