Small quarto, original green cloth, illustrated with 51 black-and-white photogravures.ÂPresentation copy, inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper, "To Frederick A Blossom with many memories Feb. 21, 1933 Lewis W. Hine." The recipient, FrederickÂBlossom worked in the Patterson, New Jersey silk mills and was the union secretary. In very good condition with some toning and wear to the extremities. In Men at Work, Lewis W. Hine brings enormous technical ability and sensitivity to iconic portraits of the construction workers, railroad and factory workers, miners, foundation men and welders who shaped the skyline of New York City throughout the early 20th century.
