Add to basketFirst edition, slipcased hardcover, printed on Inomachi Japan Vellum, signed by Mencken and marked as no. 28/80 on the limitation page. The book has a light skew to the binding, foxing to the cloth, bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, bowing to the boards, sunning with small scuffs and a touch of wrinkling to the spine, subtle rubbing to the covers, and a previous owner's name stamped to the tail of the text block and to verso of the front fly leaf. Overall, this is a solid, tight, Near Very Good copy in an As Is only slipcase, which lacks the rear panel, leaving the fore edge of the text block exposed, and has bumps with peeling at the corners, splitting to the seams at the opening, rubbing with smudging and dulling to the panels, and sunning with wear around the edges. Additional images are available by request.
