Better known as the Blue Max only 81 airmen recieved the award throughout the war. The authors provide the background of the award as well as small biography of the recipients and the actions that earned the medal. Signed and numbered first edition. This copy is #58 of 500, signed by John Angolia. Very good copy of the stated first edition in a good+ dust jacket. The dust jacket has minor shelf wear. 288 pages.
