History of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the north Baltimore neighborhood of Waverly. The church was founded in 1871 by Dr. A. W. Rudisill. This charming narrative is filled with anecdotes about the church and the neighborhood in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Many names are mentioned, making it an interesting genealogical reference. Signed by Anna Cole at top edge of front free endpaper. Uncommon Baltimore title. Bound in maroon cloth over boards with upper board titled in gilt. Light rubs to extremities, shallow fraying to spine ends, minor fading to spine. Clean and sound with solid hinges. Near fine overall. Original cloth. Octavo. [ii], 107 pages.
