First edition, signed by Willard Van Orman Quine on the front free endpaper and inscribed to former owners. Bound in publisher's beige cloth with gilt titles blocked in gilt. Very Good with corners and spine ends pushed in, cloth lightly soiled and light foxing to endsheets. Written in 1950, is still assigned as an introductory text in logic and linguistics courses.
