First edition and first printing. Hardcover. Monograph on Israeli artist Michal Rovner. Features a foreword by Maxwell L. Anderson, and essays by Sylvia Wolf and Michael Rush, and with a conversation between Rovner and Leon Golub and a chronology by Yukiko Yamagata. Includes numerous illustrations, list of previous exhibitions, selected bibliography, checklist,and acknowledgements by Wolf and Rovner. A fine copy in flexible boards. No dust jacket as issued. Signed and very warmly inscribed by Rovner on the title page: "For Howard and Donna with many thanks for your ongoing support and with much admiration for what you do Michal 2003. A terrific copy as the recipients were prominent Chicago art collectors and patrons.
