Laid in is heavy card (6 1/2" by 4 1/4") with mounted photograph of Wilford Hall and his contributorial staff, from the great painting of Mr. C. C. Tiers. A key to the photograph is on the verso. Publishers brown cloth with black & gilt illustration, lettering and ruling; floral endpapers. Minor wear to extremities, moreso to spine ends; page edges dusty; light spotting to covers; dampstain along front edge. "Devoted to the discoveries, theories, and investigations of modern science, and their bearings upon the religious thought of the age, with other matters of general interest.".
