This book is signed on the title page, and inscribed on the white front free end paper, the first end papers are black. The author inscribed this book to author Barbara Jordan, a slip from poet William Heyen is laid in indicated he purchased this book directly from Barbara Jordan and the circumstances regarding this purchase. This book with black cloth covers and images in black and gold on the front cover and back covers, and gilt lettering on the spine is in pristine condition with images similar to the ones on the front and back boards only in black-and-white. The lettering is in black on the front cover and spine and the wrapper has a red background. All edges are clean and bright. The black ribbon book mark continues to be present and attached to the binding. The dust jacket is in similar condition.
