Beautifully illustrated by the great artist/world traveler, Baum, who has inscribed on the ffep: "To Gracia and Ed with all my best wishes for Thanksgiving 1979 yours Willi." Stated First Printing. Illustrated children's book based on Kipling's tale of India. Dust jacket, protected by mylar cover, is bright & unclipped. One small repaired tear. Stain on reverse side of dj is not visible on front or back of dj. Olive green cloth boards w/black titles. Binding tight. Text clean & unmarked w/no rips or tears. Very minor rubbing at top and bottom edges of backstrip. Lovely copy, rare signature.
