Author/photographer Dave Friedman has spent the past 40-plus years chasing race cars all around the globe. He is the author of several Motorbooks titles, such as Cobra: The Shelby American Original Archives 1962–1965; Trans-Am: The Pony Car Wars 1966–1972; and Pro Sports Car Racing in America 1958–1974. On the rare occasion that he is home, he resides in Newport Beach, California.
