308p octavo, illustrated. A fine copy in a fine dust jacket. Inscribed by the author to Llewellyn "Louie" Howland a senior trade editor at Little Brown and Company and rare book seller. Also laid in are two long 2 page typed letters from Wright to Howlanddetailing the frustations of the author dissecting this book detailing his opinions and reflections on the writing self criticising. Also included is a terrific 3 page letter from Howland to Wright in response letting it all hang out about the state if publishing. An interesting look into the trials of an author's desire to be published. Seller Inventory # 49857
