"First Edition" stated with no other printing indication - 1st, Inscribed to a former owner, Signed and Dated "Atlantic Beach June 30, 49" on front free end paper, toning with light soiling to edges of text block - corners of boards lightly bumped - light rubbing/fading to top/bottom edges of spine and along bottom edges of boards - fading to spine - toning with a few spots of foxing to front/rear end papers - light toning to edges of pages - same former owners raised circular stamp to lower right of half title page - 2" split to paper and top 1/2" of webbing beneath down from top edge at gutter of rear paste-down, dj now enclosed in mylar wrap shows edge wear, light soiling, some scuffing to folds and fading to spine and left edge of front panel - 1/8" and 5/8" tears with associated short creasing to top left edge with 3/8" and 5/8" tears to bottom edges at folds of front panel - 1/2" tear to top right edge of rear panel - chipping with 1/2" tear to top edge and chipping with 3/8" tear to bottom edge of spine - chip to top and 3/8" tear to bottom of fold rear panel to flap - 1/4" tear to top center of rear flap - chip with 5/8" tear to top and chip to bottom of fold front panel to flap - original price intact.
