Octavo (22.5cm); illustrated dust jacket with $4.95 price intact; boards in green cloth with gilt lettering to spine; 160pp. Jacket shelfworn with a few brief tears along edges, sunning to spine, and some general scuffing to surface. Boards lightly rubbed along edges, with nudging to spine ends. Waterspot to textblock fore-edge, not encroaching into margins. Binding sound and pages unmarked. Signed by the author on front free endpaper with inscription "To Christy -- With continuing love and admiration. Page. Dec 31, 1972, Hills, Iowa." Author's debut novel, set in a rugged southwestern American town.
