Synopsis

Three highly talented students meet at a College for Music Dance and Drama where they quickly become very good friends. They each come from very different backgrounds and from time to time their families experience frightening events which threaten to impoverish them if not destroy. With one family this has happened before their son has started at College and his starting coincides with his father going to prison. Other troubles include the framing of a parent for a crime of which he is innocent, another involves a family caught in an international disaster. Along with coping with these family problems and their studies the students find time for giving performances, helping with concerts, taking part in competitions. It is the music that the lads perform, the love life they find, the kindness of friends which carries them all through these activities and troubles and brings everyone together, hence the title of this book.
