8vo 8" - 9" tall; 243 pages; [SIGNED] 1925 Oliver Ditson Co. HC 1st edition. Inscribed and signed by the author on the front flyleaf and dated 1927. Snugly bound and neat in original blue cloth with titles brightly in gilt to cover and spine. Illustrated with b&w photos and figures; an extra clipped illustration showing a 17th century "Serpent" is tipped on to the bottom edge of a page mid book. VG++; Signed by Author.
