Signed and inscribed by author on front endpaper. First edition. Hard cover published by Granite State Press in 1940. No dust jacket. Green covers with red lettering on front and spine. Bottom corner of front cover is bumped and wrinklled. Bottom edges of covers and spine have some wear. Inside front cover has a bookplate from the person to whom book was inscribed. Second page has some writing in pencil in upper corner. Endpapers have some tanning. Bottom corners of front endpaper and first several pages are bumped and creased. Also included is a photocopied page of shot patterns from target shooting in the 1800s. Book is in good condition. Large 8vo, 432 pages, 2.4 lb. The supplement to the book is hard bound, published by Clarke Press in 1944, and is the second edition. Red covers with gilt lettering on front. No dust jacket. Corners of covers and ends of spine have some wear. Supplement is in good condition. Large 8vo, 530 pages, .8 lb.; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 432 pages.
