This book is the outcome of Leonie Ryder's quest to find out why her surname is not Melano, the surname with which her father was born. It traces the ancestors of all four of Leonie's grandparents - the Melano, Rider, Burge, and Parish families - before bringing together her grandparents and parents. My Name Should Be Melano includes some fascinating stories, as well as some very sad ones. ; 230 x 155mm; xiv, 349 pages; Signed by Author.
