First Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Near fine book in a near fine unclipped dust jacket. Signed with a great inscription regarding the dedicatee of the book by the author on the dedication page. Book has a few small stains to the fore-edge. The jacket has a touch of toning to the front flap. From the Tom Garner collection. The author inscription relates to the printed dedication to his partner Maggie Powell: "For Tom- She taped me together and made me fly again when everybody else said I had no wings.
