8vo. Black paper-covered boards. xii, 420pp. + 32pp. illustrations. The 'picaresque, candid and richly anecdotal autobiography of Daniel Farson, pioneering television reporter and interviewer, photographer, writer, biographer and art critic, not to mention a legendary Soho figure, pub-owner and exotic traveller'. The front cover photo is by John Deakin. Some toning to the stock, the tail edge a little soiled, the boards moderately bumped and mobile owing to the book's heft, but Very Good overall, in slightly lesser dust jacket, somewhat rubbed and creased as well as a little scratched, the lower flap fold with a tiny pock, the lower panel with sticker remains over the barcode and the spine panel with a minor, circular sticker ghost, but sound. This copy has been signed by the author, and loosely inserted is a (folded and occasionally grubby) 2pp. autograph letter signed from him, concerning a menu relating to his great-uncle Bram Stoker.

Store description
Test Centre Books is an online seller of printed and archival materials, particularly books and periodicals. Founded in 2014, we specialise in the British Poetry Revival, the Mimeograph Revolution, and linguistically innovative poetry, although we retain an interest in the underground arts in general. Twice a year we issue a catalogue of new acquisitions, often devoted to the work of a single author. More information is available on our website.
