12mo [in 6's], pp [4[, 32, 129, [1], [8], 34, [2, contents], with portrait frontispiece of Prior and 3 engraved plates, bound in contemporary mottled calf, neatly rebacked, plain with raised bands, a very good copy, FIRST EDITION; this small anthology includes a life of Prior and a number of poems not previously published in his collected edition, plus other poems by Swift, Pattison and Jacob, with Dryden's 1687 'The Hind and the Panther' added with separate title page and pagaination at the end. The pseudonymous dedication to Sir Henry Hussey is signed 'Philo-Musis.'; editorship remains unknown.
