Clean green boards with small spot of fading at lower right corner of front board; clean ivory cloth spine with gold lettering. No bumping or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Inscribed and signed by both authors on front free endpaper as follows: "For Mary Ann and herb E., our friends, two talented and special people, in a world where there are very few left. Affectionately, Mary Lou - Jack - Dec. 14/85." All pages and edges are clean. Beautifully illustrated. 448 pages.
