Triptych fold-out card, printed both sides, and illustrated. 250x170mm (when folded). *Described as an historical meditation and dedicated to Bernadette Devlin, 'A New Siege' was a section of John Montague's long poem-in-progress 'The Rough Field' and issued on the first anniversary of the Bogside battle, examining the twin traditions of Derry in a universal context. With illustration from an engraving of the Siege of Derry 1689 by Johannes Tangena.* The 'Poet Card' format , of which this was the inaugural issue, was an experimental design by Liam Miller to find an alternative to the ballad sheet format.
