Inscribed First Edition, First Printing (original price intact on front flap of dust jacket, First Edition statement on copyright page) of this Pulitzer Prize winning biography of the ill-fated last of the Russian Romanovs. A deeply and dramatic history of the collapse of Imperial Russia that was the source book for a lavish 1971 film of the same title. Inscribed by Robert Massie to a previous owner on the title page. 584 pages, black cloth, illustrated. The book itself has a couple light brown spots on the bottom page edge and a previous owner's address label on the back endpaper. The dust jacket has edge wear including a closed tear at the top of the front cover, some foxing, and a previous owner tape repair at the bottom edge of the spine. Seller Inventory # 015482
