First edition, first impression, signed to the title page by Angela Carter. Fine: tight and square binding in sharp red boards; a touch of toning to the top-edge of the page block; crisp and clean throughout, presenting as unread. The clipped dustwrapper is Near Fine+: crisp and vibrant with superb wraparound artwork; the merest trace of sunning to the spine; minor wrinkling to the head of the spine and a rub to the top upper corner, otherwise excellent; presented in a removable, archival-quality Brodart protective cover. A pair of contemporary newspaper reviews are laid-in. A lovely copy. All orders are sent very carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard.
