Original hardcover, first edition, no jacket. 144 pages followed by historical section of b + w plates; some maps with list of finds in Texas, New Mexico, Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, Wyoming. Very detailed specimen information dates, locations, etc. throughout book. Condition: book is about good plus, very good minus. There is some rubbing, fading and general wear to the sturdy boards; few scratches mainly at front; there is age-toning and foxing (spots) to the endpapers, inside front and back covers. Previous owner name at top corner endpaper above author signatures. Some age-toning to the pages, and light, mild wear from reference and age; some wear at edges.
