Top edges gilt. Publisher's red cardboard slipcase with printed/illustrated labels front and rear. Owner's bookplates front of etc volume and a small plate removal residue front free endpaper Volume 2, else the books are tight fine. There is a light line stain top third of the backstop of Volume 1 else the DJs are crisp, near fine. The slipcase has rubbing and one of the top seams is split, good plus to very good minus.
