About this Item
Spoto was the author of several acclaimed books about Hollywood figures, including Tennessee Williams, Alfred Hitchcock, Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe. The book is dedicated to Teresa Wright, Tippi Hedren, and Robert Anderson; Anderson, a playwright and screenwriter, is perhaps best known for Tea and Sympathy, a play Bergman famously staged in Paris subsequent to the Broadway run. Spoto has warmly INSCRIBED the book to Anderson on the dedication page. Fine in about fine dw with minor wrinkling at the base of the spine. Excellent dedication copy! Seller Inventory # 003215
